Obituary - Adeline Yarbrough Chrane, 92, of Marble Falls died November 19, 2012 after a rich and full life. She was born October 29, 1920 in Aberdeen, Washington to Loyd & Lydia Yarbrough, both of whom preceded her in death.
She married Robert Wright Chrane, her high school math teacher and coach, and celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death in 1991. Their first born son, Daniel Lee Chrane, also preceded her in death in June 2001.
She is survived by his wife, Brenda of Abilene, TX ; three sons: Charles Chrane & wife Barbara of Granbury, Texas , Kenneth Chrane & wife Betty of Montrose, Colorado and Bob Chrane & wife Debby of Marble Falls, Texas and eight grandchildren: David, Rachel, Kevin, Shawna, Marcie, Susan, Sarah and Paul. Adeline is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and 2 brothers: Frank Yarbrough of Anchorage, Alaska and Robert Yarbrough of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her sister June Baker.
Her greatest joys in life were nature, sports, flowers, poetry, music, art, a beautiful network of friends and most of all, her family. She was an avid hunter, artist and bridge player, as well as an accomplished speaker and Bible student.
Visitation will be at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Jenkins Spring Cemetery, near Brownwood, Texas.
Adeline had requested memorials to Lighthouse Hospice or to the hospice of your choice. Above all, she wanted to be remembered as a person of joy.
