Jacqueline Ann Bihr, 89, of Columbia passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at South Hampton Place.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Columbia Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Watson officiating.
Jacqueline was born Sept. 26, 1916, in Boonville to Curtis and Irmah Griffith Chrane.
She married Edwin D. Bihr on Dec. 27, 1938, and he preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1996.
She graduated from Boonville High School, received an associate's degree from Christian College and a master's in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jacqueline was a kindergarten teacher for the Columbia Public Schools for 20 years. She taught kindergarten at the University of Missouri Lab School, and she also taught early childhood education at the University of Missouri.
She was a member of P.E.O.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Katie Bihr Robb of Columbia and Becky Bihr Brown of Minneapolis; and a daughter-in-law, Mari Ann Bihr-Horstman of Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Bob Bihr; a sister and a brother.
Memorials may be given to AZ Chapter of PEO or the American Cancer Society.
