Clarence "Shorty" Chisum was the son of Golda and Edgar B. Chisum, one of four children: Robert, Leona M, and Ellen; also, another, William Adams, was shown as an adopted son in this HH in 1920 census.
Clarence attended Non and Gerty Schools.
He married Marsleet Bain, Sept. 23, 1931, in Holdenville. He enlisted in the military (prob. Army) on 30 Oct. 1943 (no branch given on service record)
After his military time in WWII, he and his wife lived and worked in the Bay area of California, until they moved in 1965 to Holdenville to retire. He was a kind man...a good man...a man missed by his family.
