Doris Ann Chinn Henkins, 75, of Spokane, Wash., died Saturday, April 21, 2007, in Carpentersville, Ill.

Born May 3, 1931, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Myrtle Sims Chinn.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Henkins.

Survivors include three children, Belinda Diane Elliot, who cared for her, and Terry Chinn, both of Carpentersville, and David Chinn of Louisville; five siblings, June Overton of Corydon, Mary Dirck of Dover, N.H., John (Bill) Chinn of Edwardsville, Alice Flock of Ramsey and Lois Harmon of San Diego; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with burial in Spokane.
