Services for Mrs. Dollie Osburn Childress, 70, of Grayson, La. were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 1989, in the Chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, with Rev. Julius Russell officiating. Interment was at Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks, La., under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Childress died Thursday, September 14, 1989 at her residence after an extended illness.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jessie Clayton Childress of Grayson; her son, Mr. Jessie Ray Childress of Grayson; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Frances Dozier of Bermuda City, Ariz. and Mrs. Shelby Jean Aufiere of Cal-Nev-Ari, Nevada; two brothers, William Osburn of West Monroe, La. and David Osburn of Morton, Miss.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Curtis Childress, Jay Childress, James Strange, Prentice Hixson, Tim Burris and Kenny Finley.
