EVELYN LOUISE CARTER
Mrs. Evelyn Louise Carter of Sulphur died Jan. 9 at her home. She was the mother of Janice Sansom of Davis.
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at the Assembly of God church. Rev. John Wackler of Ardmore officiated and burial was in Memorial Park cemetery in Ada. Clagg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 8, 1924, in Baltimore, Md., she married Ed Carter on May 18, 1946, in Baltimore. She lived in Westminster, Md., before moving to the Sulphur area in 1960. She was employed in the medical records at Arbuckle Memorial hospital. She was a member of Hope Lutheran church.
Survivors are her husband, Ed, of the home; two daughters, Janice Sansom of Davis and Donna Lynn Carter of Ada, one son, Phillip Edward Carter of Fort Worth, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
