DEATH CLAIMS MRS. CHENOWETH
Mrs. Sarah M. Chenoweth, 86, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Dinsmore on the Myrtle Point - Roseburg highway, Monday. She had been ill since she fell and broke her hip five months ago.
Mrs. Chenoweth came to Oregon 56 years ago, having lived in the Myrtle Point vicinity 16 years. She was born in Bates county, Mo., March 31, 1855
Surviving are three sons, George of Gold Beach, John and James of Denmark, and a daughter, Mrs. Dinsmore.
Funeral services were held at Myrtle Point Thursday, the Rev. Harry Baird officiating. Interment was beside her husband, the late William Chenoweth at Denmark.
