Mrs. Chenault was the widow of Felix Owen Chenault.
Mr. and Mrs. Chenault were married, March 21, 1888, in Meade County, Kentucky, at the home of Oliver Brown. Mr. Chenault predeceased his wife in 1936.

Mrs. Chenault's death certificate records her parents as Campbell Brown and Susan Adkinson.

Mrs. Alice Brown Chenault, 87 years old, died Feb. 10, 1958, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Garland Powell, West Point, KY, with whom she lived.

Survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. Charles McHugh, Cleveland. Mrs. Henry Collins, Chardon, Ohio, and Mrs. Charles Bertelkamp, Louisville; Floyd Chenault, Terre Haute, Ind., Joseph Chenault, Cleveland, Rhea Chenault, Muldraugh, KY, and Guy Chenault, Valley Station; 29 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 12, at 3:30pm at the Rock Haven Baptist Church with interment at the Rock Haven Cemetery.
