JACOB PRICE CHEESMAN TAKEN BY DEATH
Jacob Price Cheesman died at his West Point residence at 4:49 pm Wednesday following a long period of ill health, although he had been bedfast but three days. He was born June 3, 1843, a son of Joseph and Phebe Price Cheesman and united in marriage with Elizabeth Kemble June 18, 1843 following which the family lived on a farm near West Point until 1903 when they removed to West Point.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Jennie Chalk, Mrs. Chas Moore, Frank, Levi, Ellis Howard and Purdue Cheesman all of West Point; Harley Cheesman, Waldron, Ark; Mrs. Albert Laxton and Mrs. Albert Woodworth of Lafayette, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
