Al passed away December 2, 2003 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's at age 70.
He was born June 12, 1933 in Tabiona, Utah to Gilbert Nephi and Norma Turnbow Chatwin. He married Florence Woolley, September 11, 1953; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
He enjoyed working with his father on the forest, hunting and fishing. He worked for Cudahy's and Jordan Meats as a meat-cutter. He was working at Zion's Bank when he retired. Al had a great sense of humor and enjoyed talking with everyone he came in contact with.
Survived by his wife; children, Jan (Brian) Wallace, Alden Neil Jr.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Curry and brother, DeLoy. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harvey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6th, 12:00 noon at the Rose Park 9th Ward, 760 N. 1200 W. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road and one hour prior to services at the church.
