"Mrs. Ada E. Kannar, seventy-eight, a resident of Yonkers 15 years, died yesterday at her home, 55 Cox Avenue, after a prolonged illness. She was a native of Schenevus, N. Y., and was a member of the Mothers' Club and the Rotary Society of St. Barnabas Church, Woodlawn. Surviving besides her husband James A. Kannar, are two sons, John Davenport of 1 Elton Street, Brooklyn, and James H. Kannar of 2454 Webb Avenue, the Bronx; a daughter, Mrs. Mary A. White of Cox Avenue and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the home Saturday at 8:45 A. M. A requiem mass will be said in St. Bar[n]abas Church at 9 A. M.
