ESTER (ARMSTRONG) CHASE

Armel Items ~
Quite a gloom was cast over this vicinity Monday when the intelligence of the death of Mrs. E. W. Chase was communicated from the home of her son, Herman Chase, were she and her husband have been living since March. She has suffered for years but was bed-fast only a few days. She bore her afflictions with such Christian patience and faced death so bravely that expressed her desire and willingness to pass from this world. She lived to the ripe age of seventy-seven and during her stay in Colorado won the love of everyone whom she met. Interment will be in Armel Cemetery. The arrangements are not fully made, awaiting the arrival of a son from Ohio. The deepest sympathy of the community is extended to Mr. Chase and family in the darkest hour of their bereavement.
