Born in Barnstable, she was raised and educated in Harwich and graduated from Cape Cod Tech. While raising her son, she was a garde-manger chef for many years at Bellevue Biltmore in Florida until illness forced her retirement. She returned to Cape Cod from Clearwater, Fla., and lived in South Yarmouth.
She enjoyed time with family and especially loved helping children.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Brady of South Yarmouth; a sister, Sonya E. Chase of West Falmouth; a brother, Michael Tidey of West Falmouth; and her fiance, Donald Kendrick of South Yarmouth.
Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis.
A graveside service is at 2 p.m. Monday at Pine Grove Cemetery, West Harwich.
