Marjorie B. Chapple of Hot Springs, died Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on February 18 ,1924, to Benjamin and Helen Buehler. Marge was a pilot during World War II and spent time ferrying Taylor Craft training planes in Kansas. She was active in little theater groups in Michigan and Hot Springs, and enjoyed doing cross-stitch and needlepoint; listening to good music; corresponding on her computer and especially spoiling her beloved dog, Tony. She had an ever-present sense of humor and always had a quick smile and a good joke for everyone she met. Marge had many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Marge is survived by her four children, whom she lovingly raised in Williamston, Michigan; Mark (Mary Rose) Winn of Palmer Lake, Colorado, Cindy (Gary Linn) Winn of Lansing, Michigan, Eric (Sherry) Winn and Paul (Terry) Winn, both of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Bruce (Jacque) Buehler, of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Beverly (Ed) O'Brien, of Humble, Texas; sister-in-law, Marcell Buehler, of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Donations in Marjorie's name may be made to Arkansas Hospice Patient Center, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
