Doloma Bloodworth of Gatesville died March 5 at a Temple hospital. She was 55.
Funeral services were held Monday at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Loyd Hall officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Bloodworth was born Nov. 13, 1943, in Waco. She was the daughter of Bonnie Reynolds Chappell and the late Jack Chappell. She was reared and attended school in Gatesville.
On April 29, 1966, she married Forest Bloodworth in Gatesville. They made their home in Gatesville all of their married life. She was a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a member of East Main Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Marlin.
Survivors include her husband, Forest Bloodworth of Gatesville; a daughter, Beverly Hearn of Lampasas; two sons, Monty Marlin of Fort Worth and Kyle Bloodworth of Gatesville; her mother, Bonnie Chappell of Gatesville; a sister, Sharon Necessary of Gatesville; one brother, Rick Chappell of Shreveport, LA; and eight grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the East Main Church of Christ.
