Mrs. Ruby Mae Chapman Baker, age 72 of Columbia, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and husband of 56 years, Charles Baker.
Ruby was born January 31, 1940 to the late Elise and James Russell Chapman in Maury County. On June 16, 1956, she would take Charles' last name in marriage. Together they would share five children, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Being a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and caretaker of the home was something she had taken great pride in.
