To Apoplexy During Wednesday

HOLD FUNERAL THURSDAY

Mrs. Mary J. Ayers, aged resident of Waldron and widow of Lee Ayers, passed away at her home there Tuesday evening at four-thirty o'clock. Death was caused from apoplexy.
the deceased was the daughter of Madison and Rhoda Chapman and was born March 12, 1846, her age being seventy-nine years, nine months and ten days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Ayers July 27, 1875, he having preceded her in death twelve years ago.
The deceased is survived by two daughters, Miss Grace Ayers at home and Mrs. Fred Kolkmeier north of Waldron. Another daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Archey passed away October 11, 1925. One brother, Robert Chapman of this city and two grandchildren are also left to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Ayers was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist church where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock, the Rev. C. B. Atkinson, of Waldron, officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery, Ralph J. Edwards in charge.
