G. PAULINE CHAPMAN OBRINGER, 92, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Pauline worked as a Group Leader with Lincoln Life for 25 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church, R.S.V.P. Retired Volunteers at the Embassy, church choir and Adoration Singers at Waynedale UMC, and also the UMW at Waynedale UMC. She loved her family and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and books. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Obringer of Fort Wayne; daughters, Susan E. (Steve) Blaugh of Auburn and Kathy M. (Dave) Aschliman of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Patricia Obringer of New Orleans, La.; stepson, Mark E. (Mary) Obringer of Jackson, Wyo.; stepdaughter, Julia Obringer of Nashville, Tenn.; special daughter, Ansa Aatsinki of Finland; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Dillman of Arkansas; brother, Jason E. Wolfe of Fort Wayne; and sister, Betty (Don) Welch of Fort Wayne. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Francis Wolfe; first husband, Howard John Chapman; daughter, Diane Wagar; granddaughter, Amanda Cox; and sister, Kate Ratzloff. Funeral Service is at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street with calling one hour prior. Rev. Ted Jansen officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
