MRS. C. J. CHAPMAN DIES IN BORO HOME
Was for Many Years Treasurer of Orphan Asylum.
Alice Maud Chapman, wife of Charles J. Chapman, who is well known in medical and druggist advertising in Manhattan, died yesterday in her home, 279 Washington ave.
She was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Dally, and attended Adelphi Academy and Dearborn Seminary in Chicago. She was a member of the board of the Orphan Asylum of Brooklyn and served as its treasurer for many years. She also was a member of Grace P. E. Church on the Heights, of which her husband is a vestryman.
Besides her husband, three brothers, S. W. R. Dally, A. H. and Arthur A. Dally, all of Seattle, Wash., survive. Services will be held at 2 P. M. tomorrow in Grace Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
