Born July 1, 1935 Barren Co., KY, daughter of the late Bill & Elizabeth Emmitt Chapman, homemaker, member Temple Baptist Church. Survivors: son, Harold & wife Mary of Glasgow; 6 daughters: Judy Abney & husband Ralph of Railton, KY, Nancy J. Moore & husband Cecil of Glasgow, Georgia Poole of Summer Shade, KY, Elizabeth Likens & husband James of Hiseville, KY, Vickie Wilson & husband Ricky and Mary Wilson & husband Bryant Sr., all of Glasgow; 12 grandchildren; Dorothy Richey, Kenneth Shaw, Crystal Lowe, Wayne Moore, Melinda Sanders, Christie Sexton, William Wooten, Jason Likens, Martha Jewell, Bryant Wilson Jr. and Amanda Gulley and Josh Wooten; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers: Henry Chapman of Glasgow, Bobby Chapman of Georgia, Earl Chapman & wife Margie of Munfordville, KY, Stanley Chapman & wife Patty, Ricky Chapman & wife Beth, all of Glasgow, and Terry Chapman & wife Wanda of Munfordville; 6 sisters: Ethel Morgan of Indiana, Virginia Jones & husband Charles of Temple Hill, Geneva Riddle & husband Dean of Glasgow, Mayola Chapman of Temple Hill, Mary Abney & husband George of Knob Lick, KY and Lou Ann England & husband Bob of Indiana. Preceded also in death by: husband of 54 years, George C. Wooten who died in May of this year; grandson, Darrell Richey; 4 brothers, Edward Lee Brown, Cecil Chapman, Leslie Chapman and Murriel Chapman; 3 sisters, Loretta Pedigo, Jewell Vaughn and Frankie Wooten. Services: Sunday, September 25, 2005, 2 p.m., at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
