David was an artist whose life work was bringing art to others through education. He earned a composite art degree from U of U and an MFA from Northern Colorado State. His career in art education spanned from kindergarten to university level, and everywhere between. David served as an elected member of the Park City Board of Education.
David first came to Park City in the early 1960s, and taught skiing at Park City Mountain Resort. He owned "Ink Paint Clay," one of the first art galleries in Park City. He was a founder of the Park City Art Festival and a founding member of the Kimball Art Center.
David's work was unique.
David and his wife Marianne (an artist in her own right) traveled extensively.
David was, at the time of his passing, survived by his wife and close family members, including beloved nieces and nephews. He chose to donate his body to the U of U School of Medicine.
