Harriet Chaney
Harriet Alice Chaney, 84, of Greenville died the afternoon of Nov. 14, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Scott McManus officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born Dec. 20, 1921, in Wallula, Wash., she was the daughter of James Andrew and Alice Fulkerson Burns. On July 14 1956, she was married to J.M. Chaney.
Mrs. Chaney was a homemaker and was a member of Living Word Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dalton and Linda Attaway and Larry and Moonyene Attaway; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mark Attaway; her parents; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
