Leona M. Vaughn Chaney, 72, died May 13, 1993, in the John Knox Village Care Center, Lee's Summit, where she lived.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church; burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Jackson County. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church.
Mrs. Chaney was born in Phoenix and lived in this area most of her life. She was a data processor for the United Missouri Bank of Kansas City for 30 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the church. Survivors include two daughters, Lorrie Parker, Sibley in Jackson County, and Jennifer Brown, Independence; two sisters, Irene Cornelius, Lee's Summit, and Barbara Duer, Kansas City; and three grandchildren.
