Lois Lure Chandler, born on August 17, 1928 in Purcell, Oklahoma, was a resident of Chowchilla and Madera County for the past 50 years. She passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the age of 77. She was a nurse's aide for over 17 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd, survived by her three sons, Danny of Yucaipa, CA, Doug of Lancaster, CA and Dale of Paso Robles, CA, her daughter Carolin Gaither of Chowchilla, CA, her sisters Hettie Dunham of Bloomington, CA and Lavern Davis of Reno, NV. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Graveside Service, under the direction of Jay Chapel, was held on May 12, 2006, at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA.
