Chandler, 64, of Forest Hill died Wednesday, May 22, 1996 in Rapides General Hospital, Alexandria.
He attended Trinity Christian Center and Bentley Assembly of God and was a member of American Legion. He was a mail carrier for 22 years in Alexandria and the owner of Chandler's Nursery in Forest Hill for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Chandler of Forest Hill; three daughters, Debbie Schultz of Houston, Texas and Tina Welch and Lisa Maricle, both of Forest Hill; two brothers, De Chandler of Trinity, Texas and Jim Chandler of Herculaneum, Mo.; two sisters, Joy Morgan of Texarkana, Texas, and Jean Dodd of Sarasota, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 - 9 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 8:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the church.
