SUCCUMBS TODAY TO TUBERCULOSIS
Mrs. Martha Brown Ill Since Last June.
Mrs. Martha J. Brown, age 65 years, 10 months and 28 days, died at 4 a.m. today at her home, 723 North Klotz street. Tuberculosis was the cause of her death. She had been ill since last June.
Mrs. Brown was born near Bloomington, Ind. She resided in Lebanon since 1902. She was married twice, the first time to Samuel Hedge who died in 1913, and the second time on June 5, 1920, in Lebanon to Charles W. Brown, who survives. One son, William Hedge resides in St. Louis, a step-son, Clyde Brown, lives in Lebanon, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Chalmer Beck, resides near lenanon. She is also survived by a brother, Isaac M. Chandler of Bloomington, and two sisters, Lucy A. Johnson of Bluestem, Washington, and Lottie Wilkerson of Bloomington, Ind.
She was a member of the Christian church at Jamestown. The funersl will be from the residence at 1 p. m. Sunday. Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Jamestown.
