He was born Sept. 21, 1955, in Atlanta and came to Bradenton in 1995 from Sarasota. He moved from Warner Robins, Ga., to Sarasota in 1983. He was in the Farrell and Freddie Band and had been in Chandler Brothers Band. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his companion, Pam Newman; his mother, Barbara of Carrollton, Ga.; daughters Amy of Kennesaw, Ga., Allyson of Hampton, Ga., and Aja of Warner Robins; a son, Jeffrey of Bradenton; a brother, Timothy of Warner Robins; and three grandchildren.
