Carter T. Champion

Funeral for Carter T. Champion, 58, of 560 Old Front St., Stone Mountain, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ward's Glenwood Chapel, with burial at Benton Station Baptist Church cemetery near Benton, Tenn. The Rev. H. T. Daniel will officiate.

Champion, a security guard at Ft. Gillem, died Friday. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a son, Jerry E. Champion of Stone Mountain; a sister, Mrs. R.W. Eaves of Benton and Mrs. Homer Green of Tullahoma, Tenn.; a brother, Johnny McRath of Dalton; and one granddaughter.
