Mary will be deeply missed by all she leaves behind. Mary was very active in her church, and her love and faith in God helped her through good and bad times. Mary was fortunate to have an audience with Pope John Paul II when she visited the Vatican. She helped her Beloved Arturo in all his endeavors from making tamales all night, so that he could serve them to his customers at El Sombrero and Arturo's Restaurant to helping him catch the Big One in Acapulco. Mary's favorite place in the world was South Padre Island. Everyone remembers the summers spent at the ``Sugar Shack''. They were very special times and everyone was welcomed. After Arturo passed on, Mary was welcomed into her son's home where she spent several years enjoying his family.
In 2004 Mary decided to move to Rockport Texas where she spent her remaining life with her beloved daughter and granddaughters.
She is and will forever be loved and missed by all those who knew her.
