Debbie Sue Burton, 48, of Burton Circle died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born Saturday, March 5, 1960, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Neil and Martha Devine Chambers. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class. She loved animals, especially cats, teddy bears, angels and the color blue. She was a fan of country music and the Eagles.
Survivors include two daughters, Delana (Sid) Vigil of Edgewood, N.M., and Bethany Sue Cornett of Lexington; sisters, Leona (Edward) Royalty-Berg of Harrodsburg and Vicki C. Devine of Danville; five grandchildren, Ashley and Isaiah Vigil, Jackson Coyle, and Dakota and Aiden Cornett; and two nieces, Becky Bennett and Amy Sparks. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Martin Coyle.
An Appreciation of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. Steve James and Bro. Lewis Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Barney Allen, Dennis Allen, Larry Devin, Keith Chambers, William Sparks, Edward Berg and Jerry Royalty.
Memorial contributions may be made Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
