CHAMBERS, Cleo Maxine Age 71, Hillsboro. January 06, 2009 went home to be with our Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Chambers was retired from Metro Nashville as a Special Education School Bus Driver of 27 years. She was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church of Hillsboro, TN; an active member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy; and a member of the Highland Rim Bird Club. She also participated in the Relay For Life Cancer Survivors of Coffee County, TN. She lived her life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She touched so many lives with her sweet smile, soft-spoken words and positive attitude. She was the most beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandmother and the rock of her entire family. She will be sadly missed by so many, but she will be the most beautiful Angel In Heaven.

Mrs. Chambers was the daughter of the late Earnest Clifton and Helen Virginia Woodard of Franklin, TN. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Woodard.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Billy Gene Chambers, Sr.; five children, Rosie Raines Zittrower (Gary), Billy Gene Chambers, Jr., Debbie Hammond (Paul), Lisa Kennamer, Julie Roberts (Bubba); eleven grandchildren, Marshall Chambers, Johnny Brashear, Brandon Brashear, Crystal Roberts, Jeannie Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Billy Gene Chambers, Jr. (Ashley), Shawna Chambers, Carla Chambers, Matt Kennamer, and Kacy Kennamer; four step-grandchildren, Steven Zittrower, Kelly Zittrower, Tony Hammond, Danielle Hammond; six great-grandchildren, Colton Kennamer, Weston Kennamer, Ashlynn Chafin, Cole Chafin, Mason Chambers and Jonah Chambers; three sisters, Kitty Crafton, Janice Farrell and JoAnn Woodard; two brothers, Prentice (Willie-Mae) Woodard and Earnest (Doretta) Woodard; sister-in-law, Betty (Charles) Haygood; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 5 -7 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Interment will be on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 9 a.m. at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
