Helen M. BERKHEISER, 90, 1031 E. Ninth St., died at 12:25 p.m. Sunday at Life Care Center, Rochester.
Helen M. CHAMBERLAIN was born in Rochester to Albert Bee and Mary EASTERDAY CHAMBERLAIN, she married Myron Z. Berkheiser on June 26, 1932 in South Bend. He preceded iri death on Feb. 16, 1990.
Mrs. Berkheiscr was a home maker. She was a 1925 graduate of Rochester High School, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Fulton County Senior Citizens Club, Manitou Garden Club, a 50 year member of Rochester American Legion Auxiliary. She was a past 4-H leader and Sunday school teacher for 25 years. She was active in many community affairs and was a co-recipient, with her husband, of the Rochester-Lake Manitou Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award. .
Mrs. Berkheiser had one daughter, Nancy Sue BERKHEISER, Bryan, Ohio. she survives.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Rochester. Rev. Donald BRENNEMAN will offlciate. Burial is in Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, and after noon Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
