CHAFIN'S RITES
Funeral services for Albert Thomas Chafin, of 209 E. 1st Avenue, Williamson, who was found dead yesterday at his home, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Pentecostal Church of God, at New Town, with the Revs. Jimmy Butcher and K. Z. Browning officiating.
Chafin, a truck driver for C&R Coal Company, at New Town, was born August 28, 1911. He was the son of Thomas J. Chafin of New Town, and the late Ella Chafin.
Surviving are his father; seven half-sisters, Mrs. Hester Harmon and Miss Virginia Chafin, both of New Town, Mrs. Doris Stafford of Turkey Creek, Ky., Mrs. Okie Lecco, of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Sue Rawoew, of Los Angeles, Mrs. Inez Lecco, of Kopperston and Mrs. Georgia Harmon of Charleston, and two half-brothers, Paul Chafin, of Coldwater, Mich., and Thomas Chafin, Jr., of Detroit.
Burial will follow at the Chafin Cemetery at New Town. The body will remain at the Chambers Funeral Home at Matewan where friends may call after 6 p.m. today, and will be removed to the church on Friday morning at 10 o'clock to lie in state one hour before the funeral.
