21 Mar 2009: Sara Janet Cessna Bennett, 73, of Spring Creek, Swatara Twp. and formerly of Oberlin Gardens, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was a retired employee of PA Department of Environmental Projection and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Sara was the widow of Harry H. Bennett, Jr. and was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Bennett. She is survived by one son, Harry J. Bennett, Oberlin; two daughters, Deborah Smith, Brandon, FL and Ginger Bennett, Atlanta, GA; one brother, Richard Cessna, Altoona; one sister, Betty Gordon, Reading; four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 1:30 p.m., in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, with Rev. Michael Golden, her pastor, officiating.
