JAMES "SMOKEY" CERTOSIMO SR., 63, of Little Falls, formerly of Wallington, died Friday. He was co-owner of Certosimo & Sons Barber Shop, Wallington, for 50 years. He was an Army veteran. He was a former
parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, and was an exempt member of Wallington Fire Depart 878195ment Hose Co. 2. He was a member of the Hillside Social Athletic Club, Wallington, the Wallington Panthers Social Athletic Club, and the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Joetta Rys Certosimo; three sons, Alfred of Virginia Beach, Va., James Jr. of Ridgefield Park, and Joseph of Long Beach Island; two daughters, Rosanne Timmerman of Little Falls and Cynthia Certosimo of Clifton; his father, Alfred of Wood-Ridge; a brother, Frederick of North Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Angela Guerrera of Delray Beach, Fla. and Marie Licamara of Wood-Ridge, and four grandchildren. Mass will be said Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting is tonight from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.
