"On Thursday, the 13th instant, at his residence in Perrysville, after an illness of 3 years, Samuel Caywood. The deceased was a member of Co. H, 20th Indiana, and served faithfully for 3 years in the Army of the Potomac, participating in nearly all the fearful battles fought there. He was a consistent Christian, and member of the M.E. Church, and died in faith. He leaves a wife and 2 children. A good citizen, brave soldier, and true Christian has gone home.
