Bob Dee Cavitt, 81, died Jan. 24, 2012, at the Tulsa Jewish Health Center in Tulsa.
He was born Aug. 20, 1930, at Hanston, Kan., the son of George Hutchinson Cavitt and Annabell Seaman Cavitt.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, attaining rank of staff sergeant and was discharged in 1955. He and Joyce Richesin were married June 2, 1951 in Tulsa. They lived in Tulsa until 1975 when moving to Bixby.
He worked at Safeway/Homeland until 1993 and worked for Pillsbury until 2000.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert (Bob) Arthur Cavitt.
He is survived by his wife Joyce; two daughters, Susan Hoggard, Broken Arrow, and Carol Conrad and husband Rich, Tulsa; one son, Steven Cavitt and wife Jamie of Frisco, Texas; four grandchildren, Nathan Hoggard, Jessica, Ashley and Spencer Conrad.
A service was held Jan. 27 at Riverview Baptist Church in Bixby, with interment at Floral Haven Cemetery, officiated by Brett Neil.
