Constance Corrine Cavinder, age 59, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at her home.
She was born January 4, 1949 in Valparaiso the daughter of Lloyd and June (Dambro) Heine and graduated from Hebron High School in 1967. She served the past 25 years with the Porter County Library System and was currently Director of Graphic Arts. Connie will be fondly remembered for her love of camping and her counted cross stitch artwork.
Connie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Steven Cavinder; two daughters: Tamron Kado of Indianapolis and Nicole (Daniel) Diekhoff of Indianapolis; stepson, Ty Cavinder of FL; her mother, June Dominick of Hobart, IN; two sisters: Kathy (Gary) Osburn of Tuscon, AZ and Jennyfer (Doug) Hoffman of Crown Point, IN; six grandchildren: Zoe, Bryce, Cameron, Ava, Roman and Gunner; and her beloved dog, "Kodi", who she enjoyed spending time with.
She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers: Chuck and Otto Heine.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN with Rev. Craig Forwalter officiating. Burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
