Allen Randolph Cave, 72, of Luray died on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on Jan. 16, 1936, in Luray and was a son of the late Jacob Benton and Linda Elizabeth Rothgeb Cave.
Mr. Cave was a pipefitter for Flour Daniel for 10 years and was currently a delivery driver for Auto Zone.
He was a veteran of the Army and a member of the Stanley Adventist Church.
On July 30, 1956, he married the former Mary Ella Painter, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Teresa Moyer of Luray and Melissa A. Cave of Bridgewater; a brother, Jacob Nelson Cave of Luray; two sisters, Phyllis Ann Rickard and Brenda Elizabeth Mather, both of Luray and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one half brother.
Burial was in the Leaksville Cemetery in Luray with
Military honors by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621.
