William Francis ''Bill'' Cavanaugh, 70, of Biloxi died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1994, in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. Cavanaugh was a native of Biloxi. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Nativity BVM where he was also a former member of the Holy Name Society.
He participated in both the Hibernia Marching Society, where he was a charter member, and in various Gulf Coast Mardi Gras associations. After retiring from the Biloxi Housing Authority as comptroller, he managed the credit union at the Biloxi Veterans Administration.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Flynn Cavanaugh and Annie Barthes Cavanaugh; and a brother, John ''Jack'' Cavanaugh.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cavanaugh of Biloxi; a daughter, Janet Lynn Tillman of Biloxi; a son, John Arthur Cavanaugh of Biloxi; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Howard Avenue chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral. Burial will follow in Biloxi Cemetery.
