"JOHN WILLIAM CAVANAUGH"
"Yesterday at his home on Magnolia street, this city, John William Cavanaugh, aged 45 years, passed quietly out of this life into the unknown beyond. Death came as a result of a ten-day illness of pneumonia and deprives a a wife and eleven children of a kind husband and father. Mr. Cavanaugh was born in Pass Christian and was marrined to Theresa Straub of that place. He came to Biloxi nearly twenty years ago and for sixteen years was engaged in the business of drayman, owning a number of teams and wagons. Besides his wife, Mr. Cavanaugh leaves to mourn his death eleven children, as follows: Willie, Martin, Theresa, John, Marie, Wallace, Hazel, Elbert, Annie, Velma and Earle. Mr. Cavanaugh was still in the prime of life and his taking away is a loss incalculable to the family who dwelt together so happily at the little home on Magnolia street and who in their bereavement have the sympathy of the community. The funeral will take place from the home on 454 Magnolia street at 3:30 this afternoon. Father Alphonse Ketels will conduct the services".
