Charles Irvin Cavallin, 78, passed away Friday, January 25, 2008. He was born April 24, 1929 in Palacios, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army and was a lifetime member of the AFL-CIO. He worked at the Reynolds Aluminum Plant for 38 years. His parents, Clarence and Betty Cavallin; sister, Pauline LaFour and brother, MSGT.

Lester Melvin Cavallin preceded Charles in death. He is survived by his wife, Lyda Margaret Cavallin; two sons, Carl Doty and Bruce (Lisa) Mark and daughter, Teri Arlene (Steven) Starks, all of Aransas Pass; two brothers, Floyd Adolph (Melba) Cavallin of Riverdale, Georgia and Lynes Eugene (Gwen) Cavallin of Livingston, Texas; four grandchildren, Gordon Lee, Ashley Lynn, Joshua Drew and Aaron James Cavallin and five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Erik, Cayden and Jasmine.

Visitation services held Jan. 27 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Funeral Services held Jan. 28 at First Baptist Church, Aransas Pass. Interment followed at Olivia Cemetery, Olivia, Texas.
