"Alton Telegraph" -- Feb. 2, 1987 JERSEYVILLE - Mary Ann Catt, 92, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31,1987 in Jerseyville. She was born in Alton, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Spain) Tisius. She was married to James Catt on Aug. 8, 1927 and he died June 19, 1969.
Surviving are two daughters, Eleanor R. Milner of Carrollton and Mary Catherine Chappell of Jerseyville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Wright officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The Arthritis Foundation and Carrollton Methodist Church, where she was a member, have been named as memorials.
