William Catey
GREENUP – William Catey, 83, of Greenup died at 10:15 a.m. Monday (Aug. 7, 1995) at the Cumberland County Nursing Home in Greenup.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 27, 1911, in Cumberland County, the son of Stacey O. and Maude Carr Catey. He married Waneta Sedgwick in 1939; she survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Naomi Carrell of Marine and Wilma Reichert of Lake Forest; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death [by] two sisters.
Mr. Catey was a retired farmer and a member of the Cumberland County Farm Bureau.
Memorials may be made to the Greenup Ambulance Service.
