FINAL RITES FOR MRS. I. W. CASTOR
HELD AT EMERSON

Funeral services were held at the Oaks Community Church Sunday. Jan. 4, for Mrs E. W. Castor, 76. Rev. William Lee and Mr. Irwin Eleson, student pastor, were in charge of the service.
Mrs. Castor passed away New Years Day at her home in Emerson following a heart attack.
Mr. and Mrs. Castor donated the Oaks Community Church one year ago.
Mrs. Castor was born in Mills County on a farm and had lived in the county all of her life.
Besides her husband, Mrs Castor is survived by a brother, L. E. Brammeier, who lives in the Henderson vicinity, and a host of friends.
Burial was in the Emerson Cemetery with the Perryman-Nelson
Funeral Home of Red Oak in charge.
Pallbearers were Robert Hicks, Donald Terry, Lester Marsden, Ralph Cole, Byron Viner and Guy Osborn.
Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Sowers sang with Mrs. Irwin Eleson at the piano.
Mrs. Lester Marsden, Mrs. Stanley Williams and Mrs. Robert Hicks were in charge of the floral offerings. Ushers were Jerry Huff, William Huff, Gordon Lees and Jerry Lemons.
Mrs. Castor a kind neighbor and friend will be greatly missed in the community.
