B. "Jack" Castleberry, 90 of Ringgold, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Jack was born in Rising Fawn, Georgia to the late John & Sally Castleberry. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during WWII where he received 3 Bronze Battle Stars and a Purple Heart along with many other decorations for his service there, and later owned and operated Castleberry Construction Co. here in the North Georgia area.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rubye Castleberry, and 7 brothers, and 1 sister.

Survivors include his children, Raymond Castleberry, Donna Balch both of Ringgold, siblings, Dot (J.B.) Roach of Fort Oglethorpe, Melba (Jack) Harp of Rossville, Carl Castleberry of Rising fawn, grandchildren, Michael (Tonya) Castleberry, Scott Balch, Phillip (Lori) Balch, great grandchildren, Nicholas and Amanda Castleberry, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Chatsworth Healthcare Center for their love and care during this difficult time.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Herman Kapherr officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, and prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
