Mrs. Dora Ashen 59 of 621 West Pershing died today at the County Hospital at 6 a.m. The daughter of James and Isabelle Caster, she was born at Sedan, Iowa on May 18, 1884.
Survivors include five daughters; Mrs. Mamie Wyatt of Ottumwa, Mrs. Martin Miller, Mrs. Roy Marshall, Mrs. Foster Paisley all of Chicago; and Mrs. Jack McElveen Jr. of Washington, PA., two sons; Earl and Raymond Ashen of Chicago14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers; Grover Caster of Ottumwa J.M. Caster of Davenport, Iowa., and a sister Mrs. Emma Fuller of Ottumwa.
Funeral services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home Monday with the Rev. A.D. McClure in charge. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.
