EASLEY, SC - Mrs. Ada Malinda Cassell, 67, of Rpoute 2 in the Cedar Rock Community, and wife of Ben A. Cassell, died at 9:45 a.m. Friday after a brief illness.

She was a daughter of the late Rowland and Millie Stansell Chastain. She was a native of Pickens County. She made her home in the Arial community for a number of years before moving to the Cedar Rock Community 20 years ago. She was a member of Arial Wesleyan Methodist Church, but she had attended the Dacusville Church of God of Prophesy.

Surviving are her husband, Ben A. Cassell; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, J. D. Cassell of Easley and Arthur Cassell of Arial Station; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Julia Harris of Central; and a half brother, Dellie Stansell of Six Mile.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home by Rev. Floyd Smith, Rev. Tom Hart and Rev. Beauford Mann. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Frank Alexander, Ralph Chastain, Junior Chastain, I. V. Stansell, Oscar Cassell and Elmer Finley.

Honorary escort will be the Men's Bible Class of the Church of God of Prophesy and the following: Rev. P. C. Lusk, Rev. Frank Hopkins, Rev. J. D. Smith, George Ellison Jr., Johnny Patton, Charles Howard, L. T. Maddox and Eugene Dyar.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home and the family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cassell near Tabor Methodist Church.
