22-YEAR RESIDENT LOS ANGELES DIES SUDDENLY

Aged Father of President of Home Telephone Company Succumbs to Heart Failure

P. C. Cass, 91 years old, and for twenty-two years a resident of Los Angeles, died early yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl G. Packard, at 124 East Avenue Fifty-six. Mr. Cass had retired from business since coming to Los Angeles. He had been enjoying good health. Sunday he took a long car ride with Mrs. Packard. Late in the afternoon he complained of heart failure.

Mr. Cass came to Los Angeles from the Indian territory, where he had been engaged in business many years. He was well known, and is survived by two sons and his daughter, with whom he resided; A. B. Cass, president of the Home Telephone company, and B. H. Cass of the Cass-Damerel company.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Packard, Dr. S. P. Berry and Dr. Hugh K. Walker to officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Rosedale cemetery.
