Mrs. Marcia E. Casper, 70, of 246 E. 11th St, who was formerly employed by Dupies Grocery Store, North Fond du Lac, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born on Nov. 30, 1905, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frederich and Hattie Tank Mathwig. She was married to Clarence J. Casper of March 16, 1946, at Oshkosh, and he died on Aug. 9, 1971.

Mrs. Casper is survived by two sons, Melvin Jones of Mayville and Claude Jones of Willingboro, N.J.; four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Klebs, Mrs. Russell Foss and Mrs. Alan Moss all of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Leonard St. George of Mesa, Ariz.; 33 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Art, Nelson, and Lucian Mathwig all of Fond du Lac; and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Turner of Pardeeville and Mrs. S. Ted Hitzler of Fond du Lac. Two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.

Friends of Mrs. Casper may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
